Where it all began…
New Germany Altersheim, or APN as it is popularly known, is a haven for those who live there. It is situated next to the New Germany Lutheran Church, where it has its roots. In the1960s Pastor Regel had the vision to start a Pre-primary School on the church grounds and a retirement village next door and he left us a beautiful legacy to this day. The young ones are
getting a solid start in life and the older ones are enjoying their golden years in beautiful surroundings, among friends. The property is filled with birdlife, colourful gardens, manicured lawns and friendly staff.
Today the legacy that was left by Pastor Regel reaches far beyond the walls of the church, as people from all walks of life are part of the family that is the pre-primary school and the retirement village. All are welcome!

The Sunflower Room offers a dartboard, pool table and a coffee station for cottage residents and once a month a quiz night takes place there.
